Consignment Rental
What is consignment rental?
Consignment rental is a simple agreement between you and NAC regarding the rental use, and income generated by your camera equipment.
What are the advantages of consignment rental?
If you have purchased an expensive piece of camera equipment, and for whatever reason you are not keeping it as busy as you'd like to, or need to, consignment rental can be a great way to generate income at times when your equipment might otherwise be sitting unused.
How does consignment rental work?
Simple. If you have a piece of equipment that NAC deems as desirable for rental purposes, that piece of equipment is added to NAC's regular rental inventory. It will be advertised to NAC's extensive client list, and made available for rental.
How much money will I make?
NAC's basic consignment agreement calls for a 50-50% split of all NET revenue generated by your equipment.
Can I use my equipment for my own projects?
Of course! If the equipment is not already committed to an NAC rental, it's yours to use whenever you want.
What kind of equipment is acceptable for consignment rental?
Any late model professional HD video cameras, lenses and related accessories are the main types of items NAC is looking for. Any 35mm format (film) lenses such as Cooke S4i, Angenieux Optimo and Zeiss Ultra Primes are also desirable. If you think you have something marketable, give us a call!
Here is the Consignment Rental Contract. It needs to be filled out and signed after a verbal agreement is established that NAC will represent your equipment for consignment rental.
Give NAC a call and let us make you some money!
